1st Annual Memorial Golf Outing

The Eric Royston Foundation Memorial Golf Outing was a huge success! The Eric Royston Foundation and our supporters all headed over to Sugar Loaf, The Old Course on August 10th in order to raise some money and have some fun. We had 18 teams come out for the 9am shotgun start.

When everyone was done with their round, they handed in their scorecard and grabbed a bite to eat. We also spent a little time giving raffling off some donated items.

We want to thank everyone for coming out for a great day of golf and fun at the Eric Royston Foundation Memorial Golf Outing! Please subscribe for updates or contact us to stay in the loop for the next golf outing in 2020! As always head over to the donate page to help us keep Eric’s mission and work alive!

Leland 4th of July Parade

Hundreds of residents from Leland and surrounding areas came out to downtown Leland for the Leland 4th of July Parade. The entire Royston family was in attendence as well as the folks at the Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy.

The theme of the parade was ‘No one fights alone’. The parade was dedicated to Eric both for his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, but also for being a beloved community member, family man, and educational leader.

The day was sunny, 85 degrees, and because of that was perfect for the Leland 4th of July Parade. Everyone in the Royston family as well as the people from Leelanau Montessori had a lot of fun walking and throwing candy to the parade onlookers. (Next year we’ll remember to get more candy, we kind of ran out). It was a lot of fun to see the entire town out for the Leland 4th of July Parade. It was also fantastic to see all the other floats and parade entries. The variety in the parade was top notch. There were the floats, classic cars, and of course the emergency vehicles. The community of Leland certainly knows how to put on a stunning parade!

The town of Leland has been nothing short of amazing in its support for the Royston family. We are continually in awe of the people of the Leland area. The Royston family would like to extend a hearty thank you to everyone in Leland and the surrounding areas for everything you have done and continue to do to support our family.
